"I began my dancing career during a sunny summer in middle school when my mother paid me to take summer show choir. She did this because she loved watching the show choir perform and was determined to get at least one of her kids involved in it...at any cost. Surprisingly I actually really liked it and carried that spectacular summer over to my high school career!
In the high school show choir I was in such productions as "Hair", "West Side Story" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". In "Joseph.." I played "Judah" and had a singing solo!
High school was also the beginning of my love for hip hop dancing and it all started with a radio station contest. I ended up winning front row seats and back stage passes to Britney Spears' very first concert tour! Meeting Britney Spears was life changing moment because the very next day I enrolled in hip hop dance lessons at West Side Performing Arts (the same studio that Jamie King started in).
After high school I enrolled at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where I learned jazz, ballet, and Broadway dancing. After two years, I decided to pack up and move to Los Angeles, CA.
While in Los Angeles, I took classes at the Millennium Dance Complex, Debbie Reynolds' Dance Studio, and the Edge Performing Arts Center. During my training, I was lucky enough to choreograph for GNC at the Mr. Olympia World Championships, backup dance for Sheryl Lee Ralph, and get a role in the movie Coach Carter!
Currently, I travel around the country teaching Master Classes and promote my two projects, Hip Hop Instruction and Dancers Audition Room."
